In an interview with the Daily Mail Shadow Culture Secretary Jeremy Hunt has outlined proposals for the future of the BBC.
Under these plans the BBC would be forced to slash salaries and scale back its online presence. It would also see the BBC Trust abolished with its powers transferred to an independent authority, possibly Ofcom.
