Ofcom, media / telecoms policy autumn calendar
It’s going to be a soul-destroying autumn for me as I (hopefully) finish my PhD thesis on Ofcom. My thesis will probably be like Ofcom’s Communications Market Report: heavy, chart-laden and confusing!
Meanwhile, though, Charlie Beckett at LSE-POLIS has lined-up a staggering amount of events. He writes:
Polis is busier than ever this autumn so please join us for more debate about media and society. We will be discussing privacy, public service broadcasting, scandal, humanitarian communication, blogging, financial journalism, politics and much more. Charles Clarke MP, Jeremy Hunt MP, Peter Bazalgette, Andrew Gilligan, Ben Brogan, Emily Bell, James Harding, Sir Christopher Meyer, Robert Peston and Julia Hobsbawn are just some of the big media names lined up to talk.
Here are some key dates:
The Ofcom Options Debate September 10th
