Ofcom - Feed me better
I was in a conversation this afternoon about rss feeds and the Competition Commission (CC), and how they could be used, when I discovered that the CC have now added an ability to follow particular enquiries via rss, such as the Groceries market investigation. The feed is useful because it also shows when responses by the parties involved and third parties are added to the site. This suddenly made me think - why don’t Ofcom do this for their consultations ?
So, rather than just a feed for Broadcasting - TV consultations, a feed just covering just the PSB review, for example, that includes all the normal updates, but also also alerts me to when response(s) are posted. Currently the only way to see these is to keep returning to the consultation responses page of each consultation, where the responses are listed in alphabetical order and undated (which if there are a lot can be a pain).
So, over you you Ofcom …
