Nick Reynolds was right about the licence fee…
I just heard last night that Poland’s Civic Platform led government failed in its attempt to eliminate the Polish television licence fee. It has been eliminated for the poor and elderly but everyone else must ‘pay up sucka’.
It seems that Poland’s cultural elite came out strongly in favour of retaining the fee and that TVP was running promos featuring what great things the fee funds.
It cannot pass mention that both Poland and the UK finished last in Eurovision.
Coincidence?
Nick Reynolds right ? – He’s a BBC employee who gets paid to troll the internet seeking out discontent from people who object to paying his wages!
I think Nick is paid to do more important things.
That being said, I’m sure there are some people within the BBC doing some unnecessary things — just look at today’s news regarding the overspend on the BBC’s website!
In any case, this is why OfcomWatch is so ridiculed, I mean trusted … no one in their right mind would pay me to do anything! An evidence-based independent blogger…
No Russ I’ve come across Nick on a number of occasions now and it’s always been on non BBC sites where he’s pushing the BBC’s pitch to those who object to funding that dinosaur.
We also have the situation where they’ve been caught editing Wiki over 8000 times (BBC IP Address’s)
