OfcomWatch book corner: ‘Switching to Digital Television’

Switching to Digital Television

OfcomWatch friend Michael Starks has just completed a book on the digital switchover process.

Switching to Digital Television is an authoritative study of the policy of digital switchover. It is based primarily on UK experience but includes comparative studies spanning the United States, Japan and the leading countries of western Europe.

‘Michael Starks brilliantly describes the complex mix of Government and industry responses to technological change which have led to the digital switchover process in the UK. No-one is “in charge” of the programme, but it happens collaboratively anyway.’ (Barry Cox, Chairman of Digital UK)

A bargain at £19.95 — get it here, folks.
