ISP insider dishes dirt on BT operating divisions

I just stumbled across an interesting blog called ‘Fighting BT Wholesale‘ — an anonymous complaint-style blog devoted to one person’s perspective on fighting working with BT.  The blog’s stated purpose:

‘This blog is a record of an employee of a UK ISP who has to deal with BT Wholesale, and wishes to show what exactly goes on behind the scenes - and how BT is only interested in making things as difficult as possible for other service providers.’

The problem with an anonymous blog of this nature is that — unless it flags up something really terrible that people were not aware of — it’s not going to advance any regulatory debate before Ofcom.  I think it’s much better for this ISP, if it really has documented concerns with BT, to take its case to Ofcom in a straightforward manner.

That being said, I’ll probably still check it out on occasion…
