David Levy of the BBC on the White Paper, Ofcom, and Lord Reith…
Folks, as promised, here is another interview, fresh from the oven…
We sat down with David Levy of the BBC last Friday. We wanted to get his take on last week’s release of the BBC Charter Review White Paper, and other issues related to the BBC and its special role in British society.
Let me briefly say: Wow! The BBC media centre offices are dazzling! We’ve met with some MPs lately and … well … they’re slummin it in Portcullis House compared to the BBC.
It’s a wide-ranging interview, covering everything from the White Paper, TV Without Frontiers, the proposed Ofcom Public Service Publisher, Andy Duncan’s beg-a-thon aka ‘Morefor4′, teenage viewing habits, and Lord Reith. (OfcomWatch is THE website for coverage of Lord Reith-related issues.)
Just like the BBC, we offer something for everyone… Have a read.
