Media literacy seminar

This morning, the Westminster Media Forum held an half-day seminar on Media Literacy at Millbank Tower in London. Media literacy is defined by Ofcom as the ability to access, understand and create communications in a variety of contexts. I would always have attended this event since Im very interested in the subject, but I was invited to speak as a panellist and then, when I arrived, I was asked to chair my panel - a case of multi-tasking.

I’m not sure whether readers of OfcomWatch are interested in media literacy but, if you are, you can find my notes on the seminar on my blog CommsWatch here.
