Why not? He invented the internet…
Not to be upstaged by Google’s announcement (see Luke’s post of earlier today), Al Gore, once falsely-rumoured to have won the U.S. presidential election, announced today the creation of a television channel aimed at the youth market, called ‘Current’.
The folks at Ofcom and DCMS should mull this over. Maybe the proposed Ofcom PSP should simply function as a PAP ~ ‘public access publisher’. You know, people-power and all that…
Public access cable channels in the U.S. are ubiquitous and used to be regarded as something of a joke, but then again, so were trucker hats.
