Ofcom’s Broadcasting Code Consultation Closes

Ofcom’s consultation on the proposed Ofcom Broadcasting Code closes today at 5pm. Ofcom has received 600 written responses so far – plus a printed postcard response.

Aunty has a word in Nanny�s ear

The BBC response to the Ofcom broadcasting standards consultation has now been published on Ofcom�s web site. Aunty Beeb�s 82 page response is both well researched and surprisingly liberal. Although we might argue over one or two of the finer details, generally speaking we agree with the vast majority of what the BBC Have written.
