Ofcom: Yet To Beat The ‘Average’

Ofcom: Yet To Beat The ‘Average’

Ofcom’s performance for its first 90 days of operation has been rated ‘Average’ in Ofcomwatch’s latest poll.

Almost 40% of respondents said that the regulator had merely done an ‘Average’ job so far. This comes as something of a surprise - when we checked our stats recently Ofcom terminals formed one of the heaviest sets of users on the site! Still, ‘Exceptional’ did come in second on 30%.

Of course, in the next 90 days we might see some genuine activity on the Ofcom front. Phase one reports on both PSB and telecoms are due in the next couple of weeks, both of which should make interesting reading.

Those results in full:

Exceptional [210 votes, 30%]

Good [130 votes, 19%]

Average [270 votes, 39%]

Poor [90 votes, 13%]
