Ofcom gets tough on telecoms industry
As Luke mentions, Ofcom have announced a “full scale review of the telecommunications market”. The Guardian reports that the industry is pressing for a three pronged approach, one which: considers measures which would lead to BT’s dropping of the ‘blue bill’; encourages moves to increase competition within the UK broadband market; and promotes a more holistic approach to mobile telecoms regulation.
